Code of Conduct

Founders & Coffee is a community for serious builders to find their cofounder. Trust is the entire product. These rules apply everywhere Founders & Coffee exists — the Slack, events, and the conversations that start through us.

The short version

Be generous. Be honest. Respect confidentiality. Don’t be a creep. Don’t waste people’s time.

What we expect

• Generosity first. Help before you ask — intros, feedback, knowledge.
• Seriousness.You’re here to build, not to browse or recruit cheap labor.
• Honesty. Represent your skills, experience, and commitment accurately.
• Confidentiality.What’s shared in a match or DM stays private unless both parties agree.
• Respect. Everyone, regardless of background, gender, nationality, or experience.

What’s not allowed

• Harassment of any kind, including sexual or targeted abuse.
• Doxxing — sharing anyone’s private information without consent.
• Spam, unsolicited pitching of services, or uninvited investor pitches.
• Fake profiles or misrepresentation.
• Breaking someone’s confidence.
• Discrimination in any form.

Safety

Founders & Coffee makes introductions only — we do not vet or guarantee members. Do your own due diligence. Contact details are exchanged only when both people agree to connect.

Reporting & enforcement

Report concerns to hola@foundersandcoffee.com. Reports are handled confidentially. Enforcement ladder: private warning → temporary suspension → removal. Serious violations mean immediate removal.
